Course Overview:
Many hard cheeses require months of waiting and caring for the cheese before you can eat it. In this course you will make a cheese that can be eaten within the week – and can also be aged longer if you prefer.
Course Outline:
You will learn the basics of making hard cheeses, and since these types of cheeses require a cheese press, you will make your own simple press to take home.
We will also make an accompaniment for the cheese which will pair perfectly with it on your cheeseboard and you will take some of it home.
You will also take home plenty of new knowledge (and full notes) to add to your cheesemaking repertoire.
You will have your own station, own pot and make your own cheese to take home!
While we make cheese there will be a cheese board to nibble on throughout the course, and at the end while we wait for the cheese to be ready to take home we will enjoy a dessert.
