Group sizes are perfect for easy learning

This is such a worth while experience for people keen to learn how to make their own cheese or if you just want a relaxing day out, learning the history of cheese and hearing about Anne and Steve’s experiences with making cheese.

The group sizes are perfect for easy learning and getting to know each other and the set up and equipment is well put together. Anne has thought hard about accessibility of obtaining ingredients and equipment locally to ensure making cheese is as easy as possible.

I attended the cheese basics course and was blown away at how easy it is to make feta, ricotta, soft cheese and also yoghurt.

We were given a booklet with all of the instructions to take home with extra recipes like delicious seed crackers.

A beautiful cooked lunch was provided and we finished the day with bubbles and some cheese platters, which Anne had made all the cheese for.

Checking out Anne and Steve’s awesome garden with chickens, bees and a huge variety of fruits and vegetables is an added extra in between stirring pots.

There were a few additional tasks that needed to be done the following days after the course to finish the soft cheese and the feta and the communication and guidance by Anne was amazing.

I would definitely recommend this cheese making course to everyone and in fact I have already told all my friends about it.

Surprised how easy cheese is to make

Such fun!

This was a fantastic course! Highly recommend for anyone interested in starting out at making cheese. Anne is super friendly and has a great set up with everything you need to make cheese on the day. She explains things in a way which is not only easy to understand, but easy to remember. I had such a lovely day learning how to make ricotta, feta, soft cheese and yogurt and came away with lots of goodies to keep making cheese at home. The ongoing support provided in the group chat afterwards was so encouraging and made the next steps easy. Such fun! Definitely give it a go, you won’t regret it!

What a treat the day was!

This day was very special! Anne ran an informative course where we all learned so much in a relaxed atmosphere. Not only did we learn to make three different types of cheeses, we were able to buy kits that Anne had put together so we can continue to make our cheeses going forward.

We had a wonderful lunch that was mostly grown or made by Anne and her husband Steve. Steve supported Anne as a host, and was also a great source of information. When we finished, we all sat and enjoyed a glass of bubbly in the sun and tasted some of the cheeses along with more treats Anne and Steve had produced, including Anne’s fantastic crackers!

What a treat the day was. I commend this to everyone as a fun and informative day out with the girls or partners. Well done Anne and Steve and thank you for all of your work!

Wow what an amazing course!

Wow what an amazing course. From start to finish the course was excellent. I learnt so much about cheese making will never buy feta and Ricotta cheese again after making our own. The taste and quality way outweighs the bought products. Both Anne and Steve just made the day so special. Looking forward to the next one now. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend All About Cheese, cheese making classes in Kaiapoi. Anne takes an easy to follow and small class in her home. What a fun and lovely day, lunch, cheese making, shared cheese board made by Anne. Take home feta which we made, soft cheese and ricotta. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience ? ? ?

One of the best workshops!!

I have been to a couple of cheesemaking courses previously and this was one of the best workshops!! Highly recommend it. Anne is a great host and it was wonderful being so hands on making the cheeses. Best feta ever!

I came away confident to make my own cheese

Had a wonderful day with Anne and our small group making cheese! Such an informative day! I came away confident to start my cheese making journey at home! I love the wee booklet with detailed instructions and tips and tricks that is provided and the on-going support and recipes are inspiring. The absolutely delicious yogurt starter (which I will use each week!) and take home cheeses are amazing – The ricotta made incredible stuffed baked chicken breasts at home and the feta we made really is next level – I am so surprised and excited at how easy and economical it is going to be to make this whenever I feel like at home!

It was such a fun, friendly vibe

I had the pleasure of being in one of Anne’s Cheese workshops and it was fantastic!

We had such a wonderful day learning how to make (the most delicious) feta, ricotta, fresh cheeses and yogurt. Anne was so great at making everything seem easy and everyone feel at ease, I didn’t know anyone else in the workshop but it was such a fun, friendly vibe that not knowing anyone made no difference.

The lunch we had was delicious and ending the day with a cheeseboard (and other treats!) was just wonderful.

Having such a great day and leaving with our goody bags of cheese and a workbook so we can do everything at home was fabulous.

Could not recommend Anne and her cheese making workshop enough!

I can’t believe I made feta!

Had a great time at the workshop! I’m still eating the feta I made and it still surprises me that I actually made it! ?. Had a great time with some cool new people, yummy lunch, and actually learned how to make cheese! Highly recommend giving it a go!

The workshop was everything I hoped for, and more!

Did a cheese course with Anne on Sunday and loved it. It was everything I hoped it would be and more. Anne was very professional, but also fun. There were only 5 in the group so very hands on. I learnt loads and can’t wait to start my cheese making journey. As well as the class we also had a delicious lunch and finished the day with a cheese board. Had a wonderful day out

Had a wonderful day out learning hands on about making cheese. I bought home our made ricotta, feta and soft cheese.

Taking a lunch break, with a family style home made meal showcasing some of the cheese we were making.

At the end the day a delicious cheese platter and bubbles were shared.

I totally recommend this class with such a lovely couple, who are passionate about sharing their love of cheese making

I can’t wait for the next workshop

We all had a fabulous workshop yesterday! It was more than we expected with a full on day learning to make cheese. Anne, you have a gift in teaching, and are so relatable and easy to work alongside. Steve, you’re the perfect host with preparing the food for a lunch that was way beyond expectations. We all learned so much, and are very excited about being able to now make our own cheeses. Small class size was great

Today I had the pleasure of taking the cheese making course at All About Cheese  and it was fantastic!

The hands on approach and small class size was great. I learned so much and got to take home my very own handmade creations. The course was well organized, fun, and informative.

We had a beautiful lunch with an amazing ricotta dessert – followed later by bubbles and a cheese board!!
